Lincoln Irish Dancers is an all volunteer organization. As such and in order to provide a top-notch show, requests for performances should be submitted as far ahead of your requested date as possible. Complete the booking form and submit, allowing approximately 3-5 business days for review. Once the completed request is reviewed, allow a minimum lead time of two weeks.
Our organization may accept requests for shows as a means to provide an operating budget for the organization. We perform for weddings, birthday parties and reunions, cultural celebrations, festivals, schools, churches, independent/assisted living facilities, pubs/restaurants, civic groups, and more. Naturally, our heaviest performance season is around St. Patrick’s Day in March.
Lincoln Irish Dancers is an all-volunteer organization. As such and in order to provide a top-notch show, requests for performances should be submitted as soon as you have a date in mind, realizing that a minimum of 3 – 4 weeks is required to complete the process. Contact the Booking Coordinator here for a Show Request form. Complete the form and submit (email preferred), allowing approximately 3-5 business days for review and approval. Every effort is made to accommodate your request, but time constraints/previous bookings may result in an inability to meet your specific date/time. Alternate available dates/times will be offered in such cases. NOTE: Requests for a Show of less than 30 minutes will be billed at the “minimum/30 minute” fee.
You will be notified by the Booking Coordinator when the completed request is approved, be introduced to the Show Coordinator who will be handling your show, and will receive an invoice with payment amount and remittance information. Requests are processed on a first come first served basis. There must be a minimum lead time of two weeks between the approval date and the requested show date.
Show requests are accepted year round especially for the March St. Patrick’s performance season or any other time of the year. Requests should be made at least 30 days prior to the requested date. Note that during St. Patrick’s season when the Performance Schedule generally fills, requests are fulfilled on a “first come first served” basis for any date/time request. Requests for a Show of less than 30 minutes will be billed at the “minimum/30 minute” fee.
Evenings and weekends, with limited weekday performances on occasion. The ideal time to book us is one to three months in advance.
Minimum space of 12′ x 12′ for the smallest performing group. Most performances will involve a minimum of 8 people and require more space. We prefer a hard surface that is sturdy and level.
Fees for local performances generally range from $60 to $150, depending on length of show and other factors. Mileage or additional compensation will be required for events over 20 miles from Lincoln. For extended or lengthy out-of-town performances, other fees may also apply, and pricing is sometimes arranged on a “package” basis. These are general guidelines only.
