Contra Dance monthly. Contra is similar to Irish or Square Dance in that it’s called, practiced then danced. Join the Lincoln group for a fun night of dancing, snacks, and great company! First time attenders receive a free pass to their next dance! 1st Saturday Contra Dance from 7:30 to 10:00 EVERY MONTH so mark your calendars. A short lesson from 7:00 to 7:30.
Music is always provided by a live band so you can have fun dancing, just listening, or a combination of both. Students $5.00 Adults $8.00 and 12 and under are Free. Maximum $20 per family. If you have been to a dance and would like to invite someone new, you can pick up Free passes to hand out as invitations to the dance. Join us after the dance at Village Inn on 66th & O Street.

“To heighten awareness and appreciation of traditional Irish dance, and to celebrate Irish culture.”
Our weekly classes in Irish social dance (ceili) include information on how the dances came to be and be named as they are. The class instructor makes every effort to include appropriate cultural information.
